Privacy policy

How we process personal data on this website

1. Data Controller

The Controller of your personal data is Select Energy Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Warsaw, ul. Żurawia 45, 00-680 Warsaw, KRS 0000097839, Tax ID (NIP) 113-23-46-894.

2. What data we collect

We collect only the data you voluntarily provide via the contact form: name and surname, email address, phone number (optional), company name (optional), topic and content of your inquiry.

Separately, we measure website traffic: page views, the addresses of the pages visited, the referring source, and general information about the device and country. The measurement stores nothing on your device and creates no identifier that would let us recognise you on a later visit.

3. Purpose of processing

  • Responding to your inquiry
  • Performing a contract or agreement, if cooperation arises
  • Fulfilling legal obligations (e.g. accounting, tax)
  • Website visit statistics and protecting the form against automated abuse

4. What happens to your inquiry

An inquiry sent through the form arrives as an email in the mailbox of our Customer Service Office (bok@select-energy.pl), where it is handled. The website does not save it to any database or queue — no copy of it is created on our side.

We send you no automatic reply. The only sign that your inquiry went through is the message shown on the page right after sending; if delivery fails, you will see an error message together with our phone number and the email address of the Customer Service Office.

5. Who receives the data

Beyond our company, the data reaches two providers that process it on our behalf:

  • Vercel Inc. — hosts this website, measures traffic and checks whether the form is being filled in automatically
  • Resend — delivers the message from the form to the Customer Service Office mailbox

Both providers are US companies, so your data may be processed outside the European Economic Area. You can ask about the safeguards applied to that transfer at office@select-energy.pl. We share form data with no one else — we neither sell it nor pass it on for marketing purposes.

6. Retention period

Correspondence from the form is kept in the Customer Service Office mailbox for a maximum of 12 months from the last contact or until you withdraw your consent. Data related to contracts is stored in accordance with legal requirements (usually 5 years for tax purposes). Traffic data is aggregate and cannot be linked to an individual.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your data
  • Rectify incorrect data
  • Erasure of data (“right to be forgotten”)
  • Restriction of processing
  • Data portability
  • Object to processing
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • Lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (uodo.gov.pl)

8. Cookies and traffic measurement

This website sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. That is why you will not see a cookie consent dialogue here — there is nothing for consent to cover.

The traffic measurement described in section 2 works without cookies and without a persistent visitor identifier. We use no advertising tools, no remarketing pixels and no profiling.

Protecting the form against bots also works without cookies and without a visible CAPTCHA — you do not have to solve a puzzle to send an inquiry.
